I was blindsided by the words, “It’s Cancer.” There was no warning, lumps, or other signs. I went for a physical and was sent for the usual mammogram. From there, my life snowballed into a maze of tests and treatments.
I have completed two sets of chemotherapy, and am now scheduling surgery and radiation therapy.
I do not know what I would have done, had it not been for the Wyoming Oncology. The nurses are truly angels sent from above, and go WAY beyond the call of duty for their patients. The front desk staff, doctors and nurses are first rate, professional, and have a heart for the patients — supporting and comforting beyond just good bedside manner. The weekly support group has also been wonderful — to be able to communicate with others who have similar experiences, with all the highs and lows, has been a large part of my healing. I thank God every day for each one of the doctors, nurses, and new friends as I continue this “Road through the world of Cancer.”
